Join GemArts for An Evening of Indian Imagination, when Ranjani Ramachandran, a leading vocalist amongst singers of khyal, performs in Durham. Khyal is one of the most popularly performed vocal genres of Hindustani music in North India, attracting audiences across the globe.

As well as performing around the world, Ranjani is also a member of the Department of Hindustani Classical Music at Visva-Bharati University, West Bengal, and has been awarded a number of distinguished prizes. This Musicon concert forms part of Ranjani’s post-doctoral research at Durham University.
