Yuva Mahotsav – Milapfest & The Bhavan present a spectacular New Festival in London celebrating the next generation of Classical Artists

This year Milapfest & The Bhavan join forces to present a 3-day festival with a dynamic array of world class artists. Yuva Mahotsav is a new festival celebrating the best of young Indian artists in Britain, including Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam and Odissi Dance and Hindustani & Karnatic Music.

Day 1 features a Bharatanatyam Dance Recital with Mohanapriyan Thevarajah, Neha Bhatnagar & Dakshina Vaidyanathan.

Day 2 offers an Afternoon Showcase featuring Odissi & Kuchipudi Dance with Irina Kommisarova & Prateeksha Kashi and an Evening Concert featuring Karnatic Musicians: flute prodigy Jayanth on Bansuri Flute, HN Bhaskar on Violin and Neyveli Venkatesth on Mridangam.

Day 3 features an Afternoon Showcase with Prabhat Rao on Hindustani Vocal, Kousic Sen on Tabla and Rekesh Chauhan on Harmonium for the 1st half. The 2nd half will feature Arunima Kumar’s Sthree or The Divine Trio choreographed with Kuchipudi dance. The Evening Showcase features Ragini Shankar & Nandini Shankar on Hindustani Violin accompanied by Kousic Sen on Tabla.
