Deadline: 22 Jan 2016
Company: East London Dance
Dance Enterprise Ideas Fund
Part of the Dance Enterprise Hub
Do you need support to help make your creative ideas a reality?
The Dance Enterprise Ideas Fund offers you the chance to pitch for up to £5,000 plus mentoring support to research, test, or launch new artistic and entrepreneurial ideas.
As part of the Dance Enterprise Hub we have put together a consortium of partners who include some of the UK’s and east London’s leading creative organisations. Not only will this consortium be awarding cash investments, it will also offer access to in-kind resources including rehearsal and desk space, and mentoring.
The Dance Enterprise Ideas Fund is open to anyone over the age of 16 years with a great dance idea. It doesn’t matter where you are in your career – we believe ideas can be amazing whatever your experience. We just want to know you have the drive to make them happen. We welcome applications from dancers, choreographers, teachers, producers and creatives with an interest in dance.
Following a first stage application process, applicants will be shortlisted and invited to pitch live at the Dance Enterprise Ideas Summit on Monday 21 March 2016.
East London Dance is supporting artists and producers to develop their ideas and pitches through the Idea to Reality Masterclasses, a series of creative enterprise workshops taking place in January 2016, led by Kate Scanlan.
To apply and for further information, download the Dance Enterprise Ideas Fund Application Form and application guidelines. Completed forms must be returned to Amy Sheppard, Dance Enterprise Hub Manager at email@example.com before 10.00am Monday 22 February 2016.
