Dance UK (www.danceuk.org) the national voice for dance professionals in the United Kingdom and Youth Dance England (www.yde.org.uk) the national organisation that champions dance for and with children and young people are looking for a dynamic self-starter to work on digital marketing to drive forwards the vision of a new consortium that is being created for the dance sector.
Together with other leading dance organisations Association of Dance of the African Diaspora (www.adad.org.uk) and National Dance Teachers Association (www.ndta.org.uk) we are collaborating to create a ground-breaking new business model to support innovation and talent, entrepreneurship, good practice, and creativity in all areas of dance in the UK.
This new role has a key role to play in this exciting development. The main purpose of the role is to support the delivery of a marketing strategy to ensure that it reaches its targets, increases membership and earned income and raises the profile of the consortium and its work across the wider dance, cultural, education and policy & political sectors.
The successful candidate should have at least 1 year’s experience of working in marketing, preferably in the arts, dance, education or media sectors, and be used to working in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines and priorities.
