The Creative Learning division develops and delivers a range of world-class creative learning programmes involving music, theatre, visual arts, cinema dance and literature across the Barbican Centre and Guildhall School. The division works with a wide range of strategic and delivery partners at local, national and international level in the planning and delivery of its work.
Barbican Centre are now looking for a Creative Learning Officer to work across our arts and learning programme for fixed term cover during an anticipated busy period. They need a highly motivated, articulate individual able to work with a range of partners, artists and audiences/participants and with the ability to balance creative ideas with efficient delivery. A proven track record in arts education, producing events and working with a wide range of stakeholders is essential.
You will work as part of a Creative Learning team responsible for projects and events at the Barbican, Guildhall School and offsite, assisting with the effective delivery of the programme across a range of different art forms, audiences and stakeholders,
A comprehensive understanding of arts education together with excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills are required to deal with the demands of the job.
