Arts Council England are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and well organised individual to support the provision of a fit for purpose facilities management and office services environment in their Birmingham and Nottingham offices (West Midlands and East Midlands). In this role based in the Birmingham office you will be supporting the Office Manager to provide a professional reception service to staff and visitors, preparing meeting rooms and general administrative work to include training staff on use of office equipment.
In addition you will assist with implementing and monitoring Health and Safety procedures, ensuring compliance with policy and regulations and providing training to staff.
As well as being able to evidence competency in administrative duties you will need to demonstrate an understanding of health and safety requirements.
You will have experience of working within a customer focussed role and the ability to work flexibly to the agreed hours of operation. You may be required to attend the office outside of normal office hours (08:00 –18:00 Monday – Friday) and you will be required to travel to the Nottingham office to support the delivery of office management functions by providing guidance and support to local staff.
