Arangetram is the debut on-stage performance of a dance student after undertaking years of training, where the Guru (teacher) presents his or her pupil to the public. The word arangetram is from the Tamil Language which means reaching the completion stage of a dancer’s training. To perform an arangetram is an old tradition, which marks the pathway for a dancer to then perform. Once a dancer has completed her training he/she should have an understanding of classical music and the many aspects of dancing.

You can advertise your Arangetram or publish review of your Arangetram on this page. For more details, contact Anita Srivastava.
